Who's ready for some blue sky and (a bit) cooler temperatures? The next few days look REALLY nice! Highs in the 60s, lows in the 40s, and we should have plenty of sunshine, especially on Thursday.

The next chance of rain arrives late week and sticks with us through the weekend. Right now, it appears we clear out in time for Saturday afternoon. The wettest appears to be overnight Friday into Saturday AM. I know there is A LOT going on this weekend outside, so we'll want to keep a close eye on forecast trends. For now... that's the latest.

No major changes to Sunday for those of you heading to Indy for the race. Hit/miss showers, highs in the 70s here at home & downstate.

Whos ready for some

4p EDT: Sorry about the third grade art here, LOL. I’m flying for work today and the internet is struggling to connect to my laptop. So, you get some phone art!

Storms developing to our southeast will primarily stay away from us as the cold front pushes east. Can’t rule out a quick downpour between now and 6p, but the majority (all?) of us stay dry. This will cool us down for several days… some natural A/C for a bit! We warm back up late week/weekend.

Should I try to get my masters degree in art??? 😜 🎨

Thanks to Paul Davis Restoration of North Central Indiana for powering the radar and putting up with me!

4p EDT: Sorry about

MIDDAY TUESDAY UPDATE: Hey, all. As I mentioned this AM, my hit/miss thoughts for PM storm chances really haven't changed. I think the primary area of concern for any stronger storms is going to stay east of us near Ft Wayne.

Here's a look at visible satellite imagery. With clouds overhead, our local atmosphere will remain mainly stable. East of here, the sun is out, warming up the surface and destabilizing the atmosphere.

We'll watch the 3-5p(ish) timeframe for a few storms to develop overhead locally, but they'll quickly move east. I think the best chance for rain is along & east of US-31. Updates to come later... but wanted to provide my latest thoughts for all the after school activities today. 🙂

Thanks to Michiana Concrete Leveling LLC. for the update. Uneven driveway? Sinking sidewalk? Trip hazard by the front porch? Before you spend big money replacing concrete, call Michiana Concrete Leveling. Their foam injection process can lift and level sidewalks, driveways, garage floors, porches, patios, and more... for WAY less than replacement! Locally owned and operated right here in Michiana, and a big supporter of Matt Rudkin Weather.
